How do I obtain a copy of my DD-14?

You can obtain a copy of our DD-214 by visiting the website archives.gov or by calling the Warren Co. Veterans Services and ask to speak with a service officer.

How do I enroll in VA healthcare and does it meet the affordable healthcare requirements?

Contact the WCVS office and ask to speak with a service officer, and yes you have the coverage under the affordable healthcare law.

How do I apply for a service connected disability?

Contact the WCVS and ask to speak with a service officer and he / she will send you a help sheet that explains the necessary information and documents that you will need to complete this process.

What is a non-service connected pension?

This is an income based benefit for low income war time veterans who meet a minimum service time requirement, are permanentaly and totally disabled or 65 years of age and have an other dishonorable discharge. Contact the WCVS for further requirements.

How do I obtain a veterans identification card?

Contact the WCVS and ask what is needed to obtain one for discounts and veterans status.

Does your office provide transportation to VA medical appointments?

Yes, contact the WCVS transportation office at 513-695-2708 and they will answer all of your questions concerning this benefit.

Does your office provide emergency financial assistance?

Yes, in accordance with ORC 5901, contact the financial asisstance officer at 513-695-2717 and he will answer your questions concerning this benefit.

Does your office provide assistance to surviving spouses or children of honorably discharged veterans?

Yes, contact the WCVS office and we will answer any questions you may have concerning VA benefits or assistance.

How do I file a claim for compensation or pension?

Always contact the WCVS at 513-695-2717 and ask to speak with a service officer and they will answer your questions concerning VA benefits and send you a help sheet that will assist you in obtaining the benefit you are seeking.
