Served in the US Marine Corps from 1967-1973. Served two tours of duty in Vietnam from 1967 to 1969. Received Bronze star with "V" device and Purple Hearts Past State of Ohio for the Military Order of the Purple Heart. Currently the President of the Warren County Veterans Services' Commissioners's Board. Have been on the board 5 years.
Darrell graduated West Carrollton High School in 1966. He entered the Army in 1968, served as an infantry platoon sergeant staff sergeant E-6 1969-1970. Discharge was July 1974. Earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Urbana University. He worked 28 years for the Reynolds and Reynolds company as VP and General Manager of the financial subsidiaries in the US and Canada. Darrell retired in 2002 and started his own company Early Investments LTD which he ran until 2008. Afterwards serving on several small business boards of advisors until 2021.
Darrell was inducted into the Ohio Military Hall of Fame for Valor in 2010 for actions inside the Cambodian border where he earned the Silver Star. We are fortunate to have him as a Commissioner.

John was born in Sidney, Ohio in 1947
He graduated from Sidney High School in 1966
John married his childhood sweetheart, Kathy Flanagan on August 11, 1972 and has two children Jamie who last year was married to Dan Sheets and Adam who served in the US Navy on the USS Independence. Adam has three children Sara, Ashley and Adam Jr. and Dan has two sons Adam and Clint.
John enjoys playing golf, yard work, being with his grandchildren and spending time with his wife, Kathy.
He entered the US Army in November 1967 and took Basic Training at Ft. Benning, Georgia. After Basic training John took Advanced Infantry training at Ft. Gordon, Georgia and left for Vietnam in April of 1968 and served with the 1st Calvary Division, Company B, 2nd Battalion, 5th Infantry.
John was wounded three times in Vietnam with the last being a gunshot wound to his right shoulder on March 9, 1969. This was the “Battle of Angel’s Wing” where (11) were killed in Acton (KIA) and (38) were wounded from his unit.
